Methods Machine Tools Inc. hosted a successful grand opening of its new technology center in Anaheim, California June 25-26, 2014, drawing attendees interested in the latest machine tool technology on display. Kicking off the event was a ribbon cutting and traditional Japanese sake barrel smash. In addition to live machining demonstrations, the event also featured several expert seminars on a variety of manufacturing topics and processes.

Steve Raucci, general manager for Southern California operations said, "Our latest machines and technical seminars attracted a lot of attention. The event also generated brisk machine sales." Fernando R. Garcia, general manager of West Coast operations, added that the Anaheim grand opening, which followed the opening in May of another Methods facility in the Bay Area, represents a strong resource for West Coast manufacturers.

The new 11,400-square-foot facility supports operations in Southern California, replacing the company's previous center in Buena Park. The Anaheim technology center features the company's latest machine tools and advanced automation with an "open door" policy offering customers access to demonstrations and discussions with on-site company experts. Technologies displayed at the site include Yasda machining centers; FANUC RoboDrill VMCs and RoboCut EDMs; Feeler machining and turning centers; Kiwa-Japan HMCs; and Citizen Swiss turning centers.
