MC Machinery Systems Hosts Grand Opening Event at New Headquarters

To celebrate the new headquarters, MC Machinery gathered customers, visitors and team members for a traditional drum and sake ceremony, a tour of the facilities, educational seminars and entertainment.

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. hosted more than 1,000 customers, visitors and team members for the grand opening of its new headquarters last month. The event was one of the first opportunities for customers and partners to see the 175,000-square-foot facility, which includes a 50,000-square-foot showroom. The new headquarters is located near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport at 85 Northwest Point Boulevard, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

The event included a tour of the new facility, a traditional drum and sake ceremony, a go-kart track, food trucks, a beer garden and a live band. MC Machinery experts and key vendors hosted 10 seminars on best practices and trends in modern metal processing. Approximately half of all attendees went to at least one session.

Global leaders from the Mitsubishi family of companies joined several key North American executives for the drum and sake ceremony. Leaders included Tomoo Yoshikawa (CEO and President), Yoshikazu Miyata (Executive Officer in Charge of Factory Automation Systems for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation) and Terutora Urano (Division COO, Industrial Machinery Business Division, Mitsubishi Corporation).
