Hexagon Launches Shopfloor Photogrammetry Solution

Hexagon launched the DPA Industrial, featuring the C1 camera in combination with the AICON DPA series photogrammetry measurement system. The system is designed to make photogrammetric measurement simple enough to enable inexpert operations.

The system is a portable coordinate measuring system that works over measurement volumes of as much as 10 m diagonally and delivers digital models to an accuracy within 10 microns. WiFi functionality along with a long battery life make DPA Industrial an easy-to-use system in the production environment.

The C1 camera is a DSLR camera unit designed to withstand shop-floor industrial environments. The resilient casing also presents a simplified measurement process, with settings adjustment and controls moved behind the scenes to produce a point-and-shoot camera that can be used by operators to deliver metrology results.
