This October, Haas Automation, Inc. will open its doors again for HaasTec 2017, a four-day open house at its headquarters in Oxnard, California. The event is scheduled for October 10-13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. It will include machine demos, factory tours, a catered lunch and more. In 2015, the event drew nearly 3,300 attendees from 48 countries. Haas Automation indicates this year’s event will be bigger.

Visitors to HaasTec 2017 will see the latest Haas CNC technology. Haas Automation will display 20 machines, including the UMC-1000 universal machining center (which will be released soon), the CL-1 compact lathe, and the re-engineered EC-400 HMC. Haas Automation will also provide tours its 1-million-square-foot facility–both above and on the production floor–to show visitors how Haas machines are built.

More than 36 exhibitors from tooling, workholding and CAD/CAM manufacturers will be available to share their insight and to show their products. And, attendees can see one of Haas F1 Team’s race cars from its 2016 FIA Formula One World Championship debut. The No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet, a Stewart-Haas Racing vehicle currently driven by NASCAR racer and NASCAR Nextel Cup winner Kurt Busch, will be on display as well.
