DME Company, a leading manufacturer of mold technologies, recently expanded its online resources for molders and moldmakers with the launch of an educational YouTube channel. The channel provides easily searchable videos that demonstrate new technologies, techniques and tips to help viewers maximize efficiencies and reduce costs in molding and moldmaking applications.

The YouTube channel joins a variety of other resources and expertise DME provides for the molding industry, including DME Plastics UniversityTM, which offers online training courses and scholarships; the DME CAD Library containing more than 65,000 downloadable drawings and part specs; and other initiatives.

“Companies continue to rely on DME for technical support because of our well-known expertise and our aggressive pursuit of new product development,” said Dave Lange, Director of Sales for DME. “By using online tools such as YouTube, we can share our knowledge and technologies more effectively and with more people than ever.”

Videos included on the page provide a technical, inside look at DME’s comprehensive line of standard-setting products — hot runner systems; control systems; mold bases and components; mold making and molding supplies; cold runner systems for elastomers; and more.

The channel also includes instructional and product comparison videos to help molders choose technologies that best fit specific applications.

“For seven decades, DME has been a mold technologies leader; and we continue to demonstrate that leadership by providing essential support for our customers' evolving needs,” said Lange. “Through our YouTube channel and other ways, we’re advancing our customers' success in changing times.”

Anyone interested in keeping up with continuous advances in mold technologies and knowledge can subscribe to the channel to receive updates whenever new videos are added.
