CAE Services introduces Ask the Moldflow Experts, a new monthly webinar series developed to address Moldflow-related questions from an experienced, credible and trustworthy resource. The first webinar will be held on June 23 at 12:30 PM CDT. Questions can be submitted no later than June 12, and those interested can go to www.caeservices.com/asktheexperts to register.
The series is designed to inform anyone in the plastics industry and will help those that have questions about Moldflow and how it will help them— whether it’s a molder looking to reduce warpage or improve cycle times, a part designer wanting to know if his/her design is moldable, an OEM, a tooling source or someone considering purchasing software.
Tim Lankisch, director of engineering, will lead each session with a short presentation on a chosen topic, followed by a Q&A session from already-submitted questions. There will be a variety of topics, such as windage, purchasing software vs. consulting, GM’s GMW16355 Moldflow standards, advanced topics in cooling, two-shot and insert overmolding, identifying and solving warpage problems, part design and more to follow.
With Moldflow, experience matters, and CAE Services has been providing Moldflow services since 1988, leveraging the largest expert-certified Moldflow staff in North America. The company wants to share information that demonstrates the ability to predict molding problems, identify causes and recommend solutions.
