Absolute Machine Tools Inc. invites all interested in productivity-boosting machine tools, as well as Bavarian-style food and beer, to register to attend a free authentic Oktoberfest Open House at the company’s expansive 40,000 ft2 technical center in Mason, Ohio, from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019.

At the Oktoberfest event, company experts will help attendees match their parts to machines that can produce them best. With turning lines ranging from simple CNC gang-style lathes to multi-slide, multi-axis turning CNC screw machines, and sliding headstock Swiss solutions or fixed headstock CNC screw or hybrid machines, the company can provide the productive choices for any application.

The company will also show attendees how to simply and cost-effectively begin a journey into automation. Options range from seven-axis cobots for entry level collaborative automation to full-blown Mitsubishi and FANUC robots for high-end machine tending and part inspection. A number of machines from Absolute feature built-in automation, including integrated loading systems such as single and twin spindle gantry loaders and palletized robotic systems. In addition, retrofit gantry-style loading systems and bar feeding equipment can be interfaced with existing machines.

Further, new horizontal independent dual spindle machining technology from PCI will be demonstrated with several part examples that have been cut on this machine, such as large automotive components.
