How to Improve Your Mold Design Workflow

April 26, 2018 |

Presented By:

Moldmakers are often faced with a baffling array of seemingly contradictory requirements. They must produce molds and tools that are right first time, and with more complexity than ever before. At the same time, customers will often be unable to provide final designs for the part until fairly late in the cycle, as parts often change during development. Worse still, they often must cope with incomplete, inaccurate, or just plain bad quality data. Yet, despite all of this, Moldmakers must deliver the tool on time. How?
In this webinar you will learn by including modelling for manufacturing and simulation early can help you make manufacturing ‘sense’ out of virtually any CAD format file.

Primary Topics:
• Ensure that the mold is correct before you begin cutting steel
• Explore different design options and choose the one that will deliver the best mold possible
• Avoid costly re-working of molds
