Kitamura Machinery, Reynolds Machinery Announce Partnership

Family owned and operated, Reynolds Machinery will handle the Kitamura line of vertical, horizontal and five-axis machining Centers exclusively in southern Ohio and northern Kentucky. According to Reynolds, the company is excited to join forces with Kitamura and looks forward to a long and successful partnership.

CAE Services Becomes AutoDesk Moldflow Partner

CAE Services announces that it is now an AutoDesk Moldflow Partner. In addition to the CAE’s Moldflow consulting services, they also offer the following Moldflow products and services: software sales, training and support, which make the company a single point of contact for Moldflow needs.

Progressive Components and VISI CAD Announce Alliance

Progressive Components and Tooling Software Technology, LLC (TST) have announced an alliance, bringing Progressive's library of parts to VISI CAD, exclusively distributed in North America by TST. Initially, TST added commonly used mold components to their library, which is now available. Concurrently, additional programming is underway to generate Progressive's 7,000+ SKU's, with an estimated completion of November 2019.

RJG Partners with Central Community College, Opens Training Facility

Central Community College (CCC) and RJG have partnered to bring injection molding training to Nebraska. CCC will embed RJG education into its curriculum when the new training lab is completed in the beginning of 2020. RJG’s award-winning courses have trained countless injection molding professionals in a real-world, hands-on capacity to improve their careers and lives. CCC has a passion for teaching real-world skills, including injection molding. They’ve been working hard to get the training facility up and running as quickly as possible for their students.

Volume Graphics Joins Rapid Tooling Project

Volume Graphics announced its involvement with the Kunststoff-Institut in a second joint project on “Rapid Tooling” with companies from a wide range of industries. As a project partner, Volume Graphics brings expertise in quality assurance and process optimization to the team via its advanced industrial computed tomography (CT) data-analysis software.

Renishaw, Cobra Aero Work Together to Improve Design Processes

Renishaw worked with Michigan-based Cobra Aero to improve the engine manufacturer’s design processes for aircraft and motorcycle engines. After completing the project with Renishaw, Cobra Aero invested in an AM 400 system to increase its in-house additive manufacturing (AM) capabilities.
