Mold Builder on a Mission

Not only is Westminster Tool a mold builder on a mission to improve the manufacturing path to success through collaboration with a local manufacturing association, schools and local government, but it is also a group of people on a mission to help our wounded warriors, and they invite you to do the same.

Not only is 2014 Leadtime Leader Westminster Tool a mold builder on a mission to improve the manufacturing path to success through local collaboration with EAMA, schools and government, but it is also a group of people on a mission to help our wounded warriors, and they invite you to do the same.

For the second year Westminster Tool coordinated a 5K community run to support iWarriors, an organization started by Mold Craft's Tim and Kim Bartz to honor severly injured members of all branches of our Armed Forces by provding personalized iPads, with the help of members of the AMBA and MoldMaking Technology, and others.

This year’s race had 114 runners ranging in age from 11 to 76. Westminster is happy to report through the generosity of the local community they raised more than $5,000 for iWarriors, which is its corporate charity. Throughout the year they host numerous events to support the organization.  Maybe it's time your shop joined this worthy cause with an event of your own.  Check out their facebook page for information on the 2017 iWarrior’s 5K Freedom Run: facebook.com/Westmin1

In the past Westminster Tool employees helped raise $5,200 by donating bottles and cans.

Since its inception, iWarrior has raised more than $252,000 to support 380 combat wounded service men and women from all branches of the Armed Forces. In many cases, the wounded are cared for in hospitals far from home. And because of the severity of their wounds, treatment can last for months.

The iWarrior package includes an iPad Air 2, Skullcandy ear buds, iTunes gift card, and Otterbox Defender case. Each package costs approximately $650.

For more information on iWarriors, visit www.iwarriors.org. Donations can be made payable to iWarriors.org Fund of SCVF. The mailing address is: St. Croix Valley Foundation, 516 Second St. Suite 214, Hudson, WI 54016.
