The Additive Manufacturing Conference (AMC) 2017, presented by Additive Manufacturing Magazine, is a three-day event in Knoxville, Tennessee, October 10-12, offering attendees unique ways to connect with leading suppliers, end-users and researchers of industrial applications of additive manufacturing technologies.

The AMC program includes technical sessions examining design, material, machinery and applications technology used in metal additive manufacturing. Specific topics include robotic 3D printing, process control, hybrid CNC machines, laser deposition technology, large format printing, and much more.

Technical presenters include thought leaders from OEMs, leading additive manufacturing job shops, machinery suppliers and cutting-edge research outfits. Visitors will be able to see the technologies discussed in action via tours of the Depart of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory Manufacturing Demonstration Facility (ORNL MDF), Local Motors Microfactory and metal additive service bureau, Volunteer Aerospace.

“This conference is uniquely focused on using additive technology to make end-use parts. The presenters represent the leading OEMs, product developers, contract manufacturers and researchers and are bringing real-world examples of 3D printing in production. This is the event for learning about the processes, the products and the people, that are leading additive manufacturing,” said Dave Necessary, Event Director.
