With Many Milestones Being Hit This Year, Here Is a Big One

This year has been a celebration of many anniversaries for companies serving the mold manufacturing industry with their technology and services. From the American Mold Builder's Association celebrating 40 years to Slide Products on its 60th, here is yet another company hitting a giant milestone with its machine tool technology development celebrating 80 years.

Founded in 1933, Kitamura Machinery is dedicated to building technically advanced horizontal, vertical and 5-axis machining and has become known and respected for their no-compromises precision and extended floor life even under the most demanding conditions, according to the company.

With its U.S. Corporate Headquarters located in Wheeling, IL, Kitamura provides its products to a diverse customer base worldwide including moldmakers for whom they offer machine tool technology providing more speed, finer finish capability and accuracy as well as five-axis machining, which is ideal for machining complex parts requiring high accuracies and precision mold jobs.

On November 8th of this year, the company will celebrate its 80^th Anniversary. Family owned and operated with Headquarters in Takaoka City, Toyama Pref., Japan, Kitamura Machinery.

As a complement to its 80^th year in business, Kitamura recently introduced its new Mycenter-G TGA Series. “With an emphasis on performance, ergonomics and style, Kitamura received the 2012 Good Design Award for our G-Series machining centers, representing products with high quality and usability as well as outstanding machine design” confirms Dr. Kitamura.
