iWarriors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to honor severely injured soldiers from all branches of the Armed Forces by providing personalized technology packages to aid in their rehabilitation and recovery. MoldMaking Technology and the members of the American Mold Builders Association have been supporting and promoting this wonderful initiative since its founding in 2011 by Tim and Kim Bartz.

Through this couple's dedication, more than 900 combat wounded service members were provided fully-loaded tablets for their rehab and recovery. Today Kim and Tim have retired, but the program continues under STAR Charities.

Actually, "continues " is to put it lightly. STAR Charities has not just picked up the torch; it has recently re-launched the website adding videos, photos, and wonderfully touching and inspirational testimonials, an online iWarriors merchandise shop, a newsletter with regular updates, fundraiser events, multiple donation options, and an easy application for a vet you might know.

What Tablet Recipients are Saying

"I am completely blown away, I never expected to find all the extras inside the box, and the inscription on the back of the iPad had me choked up. Thank you so very much. I never expected anything like this. I am truly thankful very for everything!"

The next iWarriors fundraiser is the Alliance Specialties and Laser Sales Golf Outing. Alliance believes in giving back to the community, supporting our military, and saying thank you in any way that they can. This year, the organization will again host its charity golf outing on Friday, September 25, in Crystal Lake, Illinois, to provide resources and funding for different areas of the U.S. Military. You can still register and support the event today.

I encourage you to get to know this wonderful organization started by the moldmaking community and help it grow further to support even more of our wounded warriors! Thank you!
