Two Women Capture SPE 2019 Moldmaker and Mold Designer of the Year Honors

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Mold Technologies Division has, for the first time, named women as recipients of its Mold Maker and Mold Designer of the Year awards. A formal presentation of the awards will be made at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the Mold Technologies Division’s booth.

Ultra Machining Company (UMC) proudly announces the recipients of the 2019 UMC Scholarship Awards. UMC awarded 11 $500 scholarships to children or grandchildren, age 24 and under, of an active regular or part-time UMC employee.

Arburg Awards Two TUM Graduates

The 2019 Arburg Awards were presented to Dr.-Ing. Hannes Löwe and Maria Gabriele Bauer. As part of the “Day of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering” at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) on July 12 2019, Dr.-Ing. E. h. Herbert Kraibühler, former Arburg technology director and honorary doctor of the TUM, and Arburg Training Manager Michael Vieth presented the cash prizes and certificates to the two graduates.
