I just heard from MMT EAB member Steve Rotman of Mooresville, NC-based Ameritech Die & Mold, Inc. that the Apprentice 2000 program was once again honored locally in Charlotte last week.

Through Ameritech Die & Mold, Steve was involved in developing this unique apprenticeship program that allows apprentices to work for their sponsor company while earning a Manufacturing Technology Degree (AAS) at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC; Charlotte, NC).

Here is a video that the Charlotte Regional Partnership did with all of the partner companies. Steve says, "The event had between 400 to 500 business professionals in attendance, so it was quite an honor to say the least."
