AMBA Supplier Nights to Benefit Career and Scholarship Programs
Support the West Michigan and Chicago chapters of the American Mold Builders Association (AMBA) by attending supplier night fundraisers (April 11 and 18, respectively) for workforce development projects.
Supplier Nights are in full swing this month for the American Mold Builders Association’s (AMBA) Chicago and West Michigan chapters. The events are designed like mini trade shows but with additional benefits beyond just seeing and learning about new products and services. The proceeds from the two events support workforce development projects that each chapter supports every year.
In West Michigan, chapter members promote the Tooling for Apprentices, or TAP, scholarship program that helps young people entering the moldmaking industry. Last year five apprentices received $500 gift cards to help defray the cost of purchasing tooling and other required materials. Those in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, vicinity should register and attend this event, which will be held tomorrow evening. A buffet dinner will be served and raffles will be held. Details are as follows:

Those in the Chicago area should register and join the festivities, which includes an optional buffet dinner and motivational speaker. MMT will be there along with many other supportive and enthusiastic organizations!
