It was an honor last week to join in the AMBA's celebration of 40 years of American Mold Manufacturing. Our relationship started 16 years ago and in just those years alone so much has happened within the AMBA and in the moldmaking industry itself.

It was an honor last week to join in the AMBA's celebration of 40 years of American Mold Manufacturing. Our relationship started 16 years ago and in just those years alone so much has happened within the AMBA--from launching its first Business Forecast Survey and seven chapter launches to online efforts (websites, enewsletters, webinars) and lobbying trips in DC to a new executive management team and plant tours, to name a few.

A special Awards banquet honored the associations charter members, including: BA Die Mold, Craftsman Tool & Mold, Elba Tool Co., Janler Corp., Mako Mold, PM Mold, Team Amity adn Tri-Par Die and Mold.
This night was also dedicated to presenting the 2013 Mold Builder of the Year Award to Steve Rotman of Ameritech in North Carolina (who also serves on MMT's advisory board), and the Chapter of Year Award to the Western Michigan Chapter.
