Boasting a 2.5 second tool change without an automatic toolchanger door, the machining center can handle heavy cutting, while tackling three-axis machining. Heavy-duty linear guides and ballscrews allow for as much as 22,000 lbs. of rigid machining. A boxway-style Z axis assures cutting stability, and five spindle bearings aid in consistent production of exact finishes, said to be ideal for roughing out mold cavities and general machining.
