They are available in a range of 3 mm to 20 mm, in length to diameter ratio of 5XD, and with or without internal coolant holes. The drills are made from grade IC908, IC08 submicron substrate (10% cobalt), and the company’s most advanced TiAIN coating, thereby providing maximum hole quality, performance reliability, and economical output. The high performance design of these drills makes them ideal for use on nonferrous metals. The special cutting edge geometry can be used on a broad spectrum of materials however including steel, stainless steel, high temperature alloys, cast iron, as well as nonferrous materials. Applications include the die and mold, miniature, automotive, bearing, aerospace, hydraulic and fitting industries. It also is possible to use these tools on Swiss-type machines.
