Husky Injection Molding Systems (Bolton, ON) offers synchronized valve stem technology for its Ultra 350, 500 and 750 hot runner nozzles. Synchronized valve stem technology provides tight access, cleanroom capable stem actuation and high quality gates. Plate actuation ensures that all valve stems open and close at exactly the same time, resulting in greater repeatability and the highest shot-to-shot consistency. Combined with the Ultra 350 valve gate nozzle, the plate actuation allows for a minimum of 18 mm nozzle spacing, making this the ideal solution for the high precision molding of small parts. A unique plate actuation mechanism requires limited maintenance and eliminates wear by using bearings for the moving components. The entire actuation unit, including the stems, is easily accessible for maintenance. The servo drive unit is integrated into Husky’s Altanium controller, allowing for easy setup of hot runner temperatures and servo motor, all from one screen.
