Mold and die spotting presses in Millutensil’s compact BV Series take up less floor space than traditional mold presses and are designed so that the mold maintenance can be approached from a variety of angles with a simple touch of a control screen. Machines such as the BV30E-RG are well-suited for small and medium-sized molds.

For medium to large-sized molds, MIL Series presses offer flip-out of the upper platen ranging to 180 degrees and a lower platen that rolls out and can tilt 70 degrees to either the left or right. This allows workers to adjust both platens while working on the same side of the mold.

The machines incorporate a variety of technologies designed to help streamline mold checking and testing, including a 180-degree rotational table that enables two-shot molds to be tested, adjusted and checked in a single setup. For added safety, the patented Sitema break system immediately locks the upper plate and prevents the press ram from falling if hydraulic pressure drops.
