The Boundary Layer Mesh (BLM) feature allows high-resolution meshes to be automatically generated, which is said to be particularly useful when modeling complex and large parts for accurate CAE simulations.

The software can simulate a variety of molding processes, including injection compression molding, gas/water-assisted injection molding, MuCell, integrated circuit encapsulation, co-injection molding, hot runner molding, resin-transfer molding, powder injection molding and more. Applications include automotive, electronics, optics, medical and consumer products.
