SISE offers a line of sequential valve gate controllers that, when combined with the company’s process monitoring products, can capture data from inside the mold and enable molders to precisely monitor valve gates, resulting in higher-quality products with improved finishes. The controllers are well-suited for medium-to-large automobile applications such as bumpers, dashboards and panels.

The IS’Basic model commands as many as 12 valve gates, has a 24-file memory and offers two openings/closings per cycle.  Sequences can be programmed by time or screw position (distance and volume). The more-sophisticated IS’Tech model can control as many as 20 valve gates and command as many as five openings/closings per cycle. Additionally, it can recognize as many as 128 molds and store as many as 48 sequence files. For simpler applications, the IS’Timer is a timer-based controller that is well-suited for small applications of eight or fewer gates.
