DMG America, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL) has introduced a new machine design for its line of machines, which were designed to add funtioncal and value-added ergonomics for its customers. The integration of 15-inch screens into the DMG Control or the application of high quality stainless steel surfaces of the machine and screen are just two examples of a number of design highlights. Such selective standards illustrate the fact that the company was exclusively motivated by technological challenges in the conception and design of its machine tools. Additionally, all machines have been categorized under a common label with standardized characteristics. Aside from the high-grade surface material in matte white or high-gloss black, the DMG LIGHTline is a new feature that spans the lateral door area and the entire height of the respective machine, and visualizes the operating condition of the machine with diverse colors rather than with the traditional signal light. The ERGOline control has a 19-inch screen that resembles a sophisticated flat screen rather than a machine control. This screen uniquely combines the advantages of the former DMG ControlPanel and the DMG SlimLinePanel. Depending on the model, the ERGOlineĀ® control can be positioned either on the left side or on the right side of the workroom with the help of a cantilever.
