Crest Mold Technology has launched Crest Thermal Technology, the capability of rapidly heating part/mold surfaces to improve material flow and then using conformal cooling circuits to quickly cool the plastic parts for fast cycle times. According to the company, this high-performance technology produces lightweight, controlled-distortion plastic parts with resin-rich surface appearance and optimized physical performance.

Focusing on lightweighting and conformal cooling, the company provides molds for rotary multi-shot, spin stack, injection magnesium and a variety of other applications for injection molding machines ranging from 50 to 2,500 tons.
