Georgetown, ON - Mold-Masters Limited, the global leader in the manufacture of leading edge Hot Runner Solutions, introduces the new Fusion-Series™. The Fusion-Series™ represents Mold-Masters substantial expansion into products and technology aimed at large part molding. Ideal for molding components such as interior trim panels, lamp housings, bumper fascia or other large parts, the innovative “drop-in/connect and go” design of the Fusion-Series™ assures quick start-ups and easier operation. Fusion-Series™ hot runner nozzles are mounted to the manifold and pre-assembled prior to installation. The independent temperature control of the front nozzle zone allows for a wider processing window. “Fusion-Series has been in development for 2 years and represents one of the most value engineered and tested product lines ever developed by Mold-Masters” announced Jonathon Fischer, President of Mold-Masters. “Value, design and system integration have been key considerations, as well as performance and robustness.” Features include nozzles up to 32” (800 mm) in length, bore sizes up to 1” (25 mm), and handling shot weights up to 3500 g per nozzle. The Fusion-Series™ line is available with a variety of gating methods – hot tip, sprue or valve gate. Dual thermocouples (primary & secondary) are utilized for the nozzle and manifold heaters. Utilizing a modular concept, the Fusion-Series™ hot runner system is ideal for the automotive and large part industries. The Fusion-Series™ has been developed in conjunction with our key clients to address the features and benefits desired by the industry and has been engineered with value and speed to market as key elements. “The Fusion-Series™ line will be manufactured in a new dedicated production cell in our Spartanburg, South Carolina facility,” added Robert Trudeau, Plant Manager of Mold-Masters Injectioneering. “ Our ability to produce the Fusion series with the industry’s best lead times has been a key consideration.
