BORIDE Engineered Abrasives (Traverse City, MI) has specially fabricated advanced composites with proprietary fiber to create the CNB-120. How is it used? Consider the CNB-120 a fiber partner to the ceramic stone family, which is used much the same way. The cutting action of the CNB-120 is at the tip and sides; it is a coarse fiber; associated to an approximate 120 grit stone; and, can be used by hand or with short stroke profilers, such as the TLL- 07 Turbo-Lap. At .8 mm thick with widths of 4, 6 and 10mm and lengths of 75mm (3”) and 150mm (6”) in the 10mm only, the CNB- 120 is an excellent rough-in tool on ribs and slots. Cutter marks and EDM scale on any material are no match for the CNB-120. The CNB-120 can be used with or without lubricant.
