Toyoda Machinery (Arlington Heights, IL) will showcase a new generation of vertical and horizontal machining centers, flexible manufacturing automation, tool storage systems, and grinding technology. Toyoda will showcase its largest horizontal machining center, the new FH1250SX, featuring a new column and high-torque spindle designed to handle rapid cutting without compromising rigidity. Toyoda’s 550SX HMC, featuring technological advancements that include a compact tool matrix, will also be on display. Also in the booth with be Toyoda’s newly enhanced FH450S, automated with a 451 tool matrix and a 12-pallet FMS. Toyoda will showcase another new addition to its horizontal lineup, the FH400J. The FH400J features Toyoda’s smallest pallet, designed to handle high-speed applications with a compact footprint. Toyoda will debut the second generation of its vertical machining centers, featuring several technology upgrades. Highlights of the FV Series include larger table sizes with increased load capacities and increased stroke from previous models. These box way VMCs offer a range of spindle options for high-precision, heavy-cutting applications. Toyoda will also display its SB216 bridge type machining center. The SB series machines can quickly be customized to handle most large part applications. A full splash guard, dual chip conveyors, and a Fanuc CNC make them easy to use and maintain. Toyoda’s newly enhanced SelectG-II is an economical cylindrical grinding machine designed for flexible and precise small-lot work. The Toyoda booth will have a machining center spindle rebuild demonstration area, where visitors can see Toyoda’s process for rebuilding spindles to OEM specifications.
