Die-Sep’s (Booth 102) newly designed tipper is capable of tipping 50,000 molds or mold sections and is scalable to 100,000 lbs.

The Die-Sep splits molds extremely fast. A mold is placed into the open bay and then is hydraulically pushed forward until it is flush against the stationary platen. Electromagnets embedded in the platens are turned on to mount the mold, and the pulling of a lever opens the mold when the moveable platen retracts. Once the mold has been opened, the mold half mounted onto the stationary platen is tipped upward to the maximum horizontal position. The process is reversed to tip the mold half back down and close it. Molds are opened without jamming or requiring the use of bars or hammers.

Die-Seps are custom built and often include accessories such as a core-pull, water leak tester, gusseted tabletop (work bench) and more.
