Among the products the Hardinge Grinding Group will display at EMO 2015 are a Hauser jig grinding head designed for increased performance and productivity, as well as higher machining accuracy. According to the company, enhancements to the head complement the hard machining of its jig grinders, which are well-suited for accurate grinding in tool and mold fabrication, as well as small-component production. Additional options are available for ultra-fine hard milling.

In addition to the combination of grinding and hard milling, and increased bore roundness, the grinding head concept facilitates machine automation and enables an array of machining options in bore grinding, mold grinding, profile grinding and machining of conical workpieces, the company says.
