This design enables high peak force density in the magnetic gap, as well as high thermal efficiency.

LMS motors offer continuous force ranging to 664 N, which is higher than the company’s LMG linear motor series, and peak force as high as 2,760 N with speeds as fast as up to 15 m/sec. Because the mechanical integration is similar with both series, easy upgrades are possible.

The LMS series can be used in machines that require a high power density together with a high dynamic for mid-range moving masses.
