Mastip (Slinger, WI) will showcase its array of hot runner products and systems at amerimold, including a new line of miniature nozzles developed for small-part, high-cavitation molding applications. The MJ-09 nozzle’s unique design fits within a small gate/bore detail for use with small parts where gating locations are tightly confined. The nozzle design provides optimum flow characteristics, improved cooling performance and gate strength, and excellent thermal stability for a wide molding window. The MJ-09 nozzle is ideally suited for high cavitation medical and packaging applications. Also showcased will be MVG valve gate technology. This unique valve gate offers easily adjustable pins from outside the mold for easy set-up and slight pin height adjustments if needed after initial set-up.
