The new Melt-Disk hot runner system delivers simultaneous side gating for two, four, six and eight parts per drop. This new product offers optimal heat control in the gate area where the disk acts as a “mini-manifold” in applying heat, additionally it has a leak-proof seal when heated that is easily removed when cooled. The Melt-Disk system is perfect for parts such as pipettes, syringe barrels and needle shields.
