Emuge Corp. (West Boylston, MA) offers expanded lines of High Productivity Cutting (HPC) solid carbide end mills for a broadened application range. Building on the success of the MULTI-Cut™ HPC end mills which permit economical cutting of a wide range of materials, Emuge expanded the program by adding new geometries, styles and sizes of end mills. New capabilities include the ability to perform complex 3-D machining as well as roughing and finishing operations of mold and die components. Emuge HPC End Mills are made from select micro-grain carbide and offer increased reliability and more efficient chip evacuation for maximum cutting performance and tool life.

The end mills feature variable flute spacing and pitch to minimize vibrations, even at high speeds and aggressive cutting depths. Material removal rates up to ten times that of conventional end mill can be achieved.

The following lines are included: MULTI-Jet-Cut, MULTI-Jet-Cut IKZ, MULTI-Jet-Cut ball-nose, MULTI-Jet-Cut Base, HPC-Jet-Cut, HSC-Jet-Cut, and MULTI-Jet-Cut Duplex.

Emuge High Performance Solid Carbide End Mills range in diameter from 1 mm to 20 mm, depending on design.
