The drill’s unique design uses an indexable carbide crown with two effective cutting edges to provide a range of holemaking operations, from .472”-.791” hole diameters up to 7xD. A single drill body can accommodate a number of inserts in incremental sizes, and different geometries for various materials. The system offers easy insert indexing, even right on the machine, high repeatability and the economy of minimized inventory.
