At Plastec West / MD&M West, February 7-9, in Anaheim, California, Zeiss will highlight computer tomographs (CTs) designed to meet the demand for increasing speed and flexibility: the Metrotom 800 with extended performance spectrum and the Metrotom 1500. The extended 225-kV version of the 800 model offers 500 W of power that enables scanning of both metal components and those of mixed materials (hybrid workpieces). The 225-kV Metrotom 1500 features a measuring Z axis that is suited for scanning of die-cast components as tall as 700 mm.
