Mitutoyo America’s latest Legex CNC coordinate measuring machine offers high-accuracy length measurement to 0.28 micron, making it well-suited for such applications as ultra-precise molds and components.

Key features include minimized sources of static and dynamic error; a fixed-bridge structure with moving table; a base made from spheroidal graphite (ductile) cast iron in a sealed-structure design for high rigidity and vibration attenuating; a thermally symmetric structure featuring full covers around the main body to reduce the impact of ambient temperature changes; a vibration-dampening unit; and an air server that stabilizes the air temperature to 20°C ±0.1°C.
