M.R. Mold will demonstrate its pneumatic “stuffer box,” capable of pushing 1 lb of material at 1,200 psi into a molding machine. The low-volume, high-pressure device threads directly into the barrel of the machine and facilitates quick material changes due to prototyping, short-run production and micro-molding of a variety of rubber products. It is suitable for high-consistency silicone rubber (HCR) and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and has the capacity of feeding 3 lbs of material.

The company also will have a plastic injection mold running in Wexco Corp.’s booth (W1903). This mold was built in partnership with Craftsman Tool & Mold (S16059), Progressive Components (W4345) and Mastip (W8191), using ExxonMobil (W204) material in a Toshiba Machine (W1763) molding machine with a Yushin America (W763) robot.
