Husky (Bolton, ON) has launched a comprehensive 3D customer drawing package for hot runners that is designed to allow customers to easily check their tooling interface with the hot runner. It provides full parasolids of plates with inverse gate detail, guide pins merged in and skins of manifolds. This package is available for all hot runner projects. For complete hot halves with plates, the package includes plate models that have all features; manifold models with critical surface features; unified nozzle stack; and inverse gate detail that can easily be subtracted from the plates to save significant time in plate layout and design. For manifold systems, the package includes manifold model with critical surface features; unified nozzle stack; inverse manifold pocket; and inverse gate detail.
