Weiler Names New Global Operations VP

The abrasive products provider says Brian Seelig will help the company move into its next phase of growth.

Weiler Corporation, a provider of brushes, abrasives and maintenance products for surface conditioning, welcomes Brian Seelig as vice president, global operations. In that role, Seelig will be responsible for all operations and manufacturing processes. “Brian brings a fresh perspective,” says Chris Weiler, president/CEO. “His leadership, business strategy and global operations experience create an opportunity for Weiler to move into our next phase of growth while continuing to strengthen our customer-focused strategy.”

Seelig brings more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, business strategy and global operations. Prior to joining Weiler, he was vice president, global manufacturing for Minteq International, a role in which he coordinated operations efforts for 17 plants in 10 countries. He also served as COO at Amuneal Manufacturing and Wetherill Associates, leading several acquisitions and implementing lean enterprise practices across all operations. Seelig holds a master’s degree from University of Hartford and a bachelor’s degree from Boston University.
