Video-Based Training Company Forms Partnership with CNC Concept Trainer

Online CNC Training Available

Expert Tech, a provider of a number of online, video-based training courses for the moldmaking industry, has formed a partnership with Immerse2learn—a company that sells CNC related training to schools.  According to Expert Tech President Ryan Pohl, this partnership gives both companies the opportunity to offer beginner training in conjunction with Expert Technical’s advance and specialized training. “Expert Tech and Immersive immediately recognized the complementary nature of our product offerings,” Pohl explains, “so we approached them after hearing about them from numerous educator customers.

“This new program will be called the Entry-to Expert program,” Pohl continues. “Immerse2learn.com is run by a company called Immersive Engineering. The company offers a very powerful CNC emulator which uses flight simulator technology to teach CNC concepts.  They have Haas and Fanuc control interfaces that students can actually program and watch run in a 3-D environment.”

According to Pohl, the following classes will be offered: Machine Shop Safety, Shop Floor Communication and Leadership, Introductory Shop Math, Precision Measurement, Blueprint Reading, Advanced Shop Math, Introduction to Plastic Injection Molds, Introduction to CNC Mills (Fanuc or Haas), Introduction to CNC Lathes (Fanuc or Haas), and Advanced CNCN Milling and Drilling. “Each of these classes represents more than 20 hours of training, for just $235 per class,” Pohl says. “Expert Tech's relationship with Immersive is another strategic move designed to offer an ever-growing training resource specifically designed to meet the needs of the moldmaking industry.”

Outlines or demonstrations are available for any of these classes. For more information visit www.expert-technical.com.
