Sandvik Coromant is proud to announce a carbide recycling campaign to benefit Workshop for Warriors (WFW). During the months of July, August and September, $1 will be donated to Workshops for Warriors for each pound of recycled carbide received.

WFW President Hernán Luis y Prado is elated about this year’s campaign. “With the donation from last year, we were able to complete a much-needed CAD/CAM lab which allowed us to triple our capacity to train veterans on that equipment. Seeing the results from a one-month campaign, we are excited about how many veterans can benefit from this year’s three-month campaign. "

To get started, recycle used carbide inserts and solid carbide round tools and order the recycling kit, which can be ordered by calling Sandvik's customer service center at 1-800-SANDVIK (1-800-726-3845) or visiting their website here.

Customers may choose to receive a recycling voucher which is redeemable for product with an additional 50 percent at list price. For example, customers who would receive a $1,000 check would receive a recycling voucher for $1,500 redeemable for product. Vouchers are valid for six months from issue date for standard stock or product.

All Recycling Return Authorizations (RRAs) must be issued by Sandvik from July 1 through September 30, 2014 to be eligible for the $1/pound donation to Workshops for Warriors. The shipment must be received at the company's designated facility within 15 business days from the issuance of the RRA. RRAs issued on September 30, 2014, the last day of the campaign, must be received no later than October 15, 2014.
