New Website for 5-Axis Education Launched

A new website dedicated to 5-axis education, www.fiveaxismachining.com, was just launched. The site covers machining, programming, workholding, and explains how 5-axis technology can make job shops more profitable.

The site was developed to educate businesses about the benefits of 5-sided machining on a 5-axis machining center. Converting from a 3-axis machining center to a 5-axis machining for 5-sided machining reduces setup time, provides cost savings, and increases accuracy. The website contains information originally developed by applications engineers with links to relevant articles from multiple sources.

In addition to 5-axis content, www.fiveaxismachining.com has a dedicated email and telephone line to directly access applications engineers. The website is powered by Hurco, but focuses on the overall advantages and challenges of 5-axis machining instead of limiting content to specific Hurco products.
