For the first time, Milacron is bringing its varied technology offerings together under a unified brand, including injection, extrusion, blow molding, hot runner systems, mold technologies, process control systems, and fluids. In addition to its own brand, the company offers products from such names as Mold-Masters, DME, Ferromatik, Uniloy, Tirad and CIMCOOL.

The company’s vision is to deliver localized, end-to-end solutions to customers on a global scale, says Tom Goeke, CEO of Milacron. To that end, the company has also combined its research and development efforts to improve quality, precision, speed and energy efficiency across the entire product portfolio.

This new direction is reflected in the new Milacron logo. The red color is said to honor the company’s heritage, while the three-dimensional box represents both the “M” in Milacron as well as the possibilities of consolidating products. Already introduced to more than 5,000 global Milacron employees, the new brand will be exposed to customers through expanded market capabilities, integrated sales teams and a new website.

At NPE, the company will showcase its new look and a variety of new products. Examples include the new Milacron PET System, a servo-hydraulic preform molding system designed for minimal dry cycle times, energy savings, ease of service, and options for post cooling functions; and Klear Cans, a co-injection method that enables plastic to replicate the benefits of metal and glass storage products.
