Methods Machine Tools is increasing its presence and operations in Southern California by adding Steve Raucci as general manager and opening a new, expanded technology center in Anaheim. New applications, sales and service staff are also being added to support this expansion.

“The expanded operations, key new personnel and support are critical to Methods’ West Coast strategy,” says Fernando R. Garcia, Methods’ general manager based in Northern California.  Garcia recently joined the company to head up its West Coast operations.

Raucci had been a western regional manager for Methods since 2004. For more than 10 years prior to that, he ran businesses in Arizona and Illinois, selling and servicing EDM products.

The new technology center will be approximately 12,000 square feet and will replace the company’s smaller Buena Park, California, center. It will include a spacious showroom and classroom, and accommodate the latest machine tool and automation technology, including Citizen turning centers, FANUC RoboDrill vertical machining centers and wire EDM machines, Feeler high-performance machining and turning centers, Yasda precision machining centers, KIWA-Japan horizontal machining centers; metrology solutions such as VisionGauge digital optical comparators; tooling; spare parts; and more. Application experts also will be located on site.
