Makino has announced its speaker lineup for its Lunch and Learn sessions that will be held during IMTS 2016 in Chicago.

With one session held per day, from noon until 1 p.m. in Room S104 (South hall of McCormick Place, first floor), Makino seeks to help customers better understand how its adaptive automation systems combine engineering with innovation to help them manufacture more efficiently.
 
Following are the speakers and topics that are planned for each day of IMTS:
  • On Monday, September 12, Chuck Chandler of SEW-EURODRIVE will present Firsthand Lessons for Shops Considering Automation but Don't know Where to Start.
  • On Tuesday, September 13, Pete Raulin of Tennessee Tool and Engineering will present Time Is Money in Aluminum Die-Cast Machining, and Your General-Purpose Machine Isn't Cutting It.
  • On Wednesday, September 14, Tyler Burke of Turbine Technologies will present The DNA of Successful Blade and Vane EDM Hole Drilling.
  • On Thursday, September 15, Jim Gibbs of Dynamic NC will present Identifying and Understanding the Hidden Influencers of Total Product Cost.
  • On Friday, September 16, Cayce Washington of Valley Tool will present Discovering the True Value of a High-Performance Machining Center.
