Jack E. Kelley, founder and former owner of JK Molds Inc., and other plastics businesses passed away in his home surrounded by his family on June 17, 2016.

Although it has been a while since MoldMaking Technology covered JK Molds, to many Jack was an icon in the Southern California plastics community for many years.  He founded and owned JK molds (in business for 36 years before retiring and selling the company).  He also founded and co-owned American Technical Molding (ATM) for 11 years prior to selling it to Universal Tubing Incorporated (UTI).

We extend our sympathies to the family. May he rest in peace.

Jack E. Kelley passed away in his home surrounded by his family on June 17, 2016. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Jack and Bettye Kelley. His family made Upland their home in 1946. Jack was a member of the first graduating class of Upland High School in 1958. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Karen, his brother, Richard Sr., his sons Jack Jr., Jason Van Noy and Eric Van Noy , his daughter, Kristine Leyhane ), and his eleven grandchildren.  Read more here.
