German Moldmaking – We Create Values

Under the motto "German Moldmaking – We Create Values," the special show presents a selection of innovative exhibits and projects of German companies. Dr. Ing. Eberhard Döring, CEO of EuroMold states: „The German moldmaking and tooling sector is a key industry for Germany and needs to remain here“. In a medium and long term German moldmakers will only be able to maintain their technological leadership against other countries like China or USA, if they sustainably expand their fi eld of expertise and share it among themselves

The special show „innovations through Moldmaking and Tooling“, matches this interface. New methods like the early involvement of toolmakers in the product development can be highly effective to reach overall goals like guaranteeing high precision and quality. New forms of cooperation offer a serious potential for innovative product development. The most important requirement for this is an intense cross linking of all related players in the moldmaking and tooling sector.

The special show will be accompanied by a job fair and an information area, where job descriptions about tooling and career opportunities for young technicians and engineers will be presented. Universities and human resources experts will additionally give an outlook on future developments of labour markets and promising fields of study. For graduates, careers entrants, young professionals and companies this is a great occasion to gain valuable insights and make important personal contacts. The special show therefore makes a valuable contribution to the promotion of young talents.
