EuroMold 2010 Confirms Its Position as International Leading Trade Fair

55.301 visitors from 86 countries – high stake of decision makers; internationality of visitors rises to 40.9 percent; excellent contacts, concrete sales; and, EuroMold drives growth and innovations for the entire sector.

The 17th EuroMold closed up on December 4, 2010. It was a very successful event with 55.301 attendees from 86 countries. Despite of bad weather conditions EuroMold 2010 was able to keep the number of visitors from last year and even raised the internationality of attendees.

With 22.633 visitors from abroad EuroMold 2010 raised its internationality up to 40.9 percent (2009: 36.6 percent). This is an increase of 11.7 percent. Most international visitors came from Italy, Turkey, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Important countries in the field were also Spain, China, Belgium, France, and Russia.

“The increasing number of trade visitors from abroad was far beyond our expectations”, said Dr. Ing. Eberhard Döring, Exhibition Manager of EuroMold 2010. “EuroMold has been affirmed as an essential event for the product development industry by more than 55,000 visitors, among them many decision makers, coming to Frankfurt despite of really bad weather conditions.”

On the 17th World Fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development, held on the Exhibition Center Frankfurt, 1,384 exhibitors (+
2.2 percent) from 38 countries showcased their products and services, including many world premieres in different sectors. EuroMold 2010 has also extended its position as the leading European market place for rapid technologies.

Special highlights at EuroMold were the special shows ‘e-production for everyone’ in hall 11.0 and ‘Energy Efficiency and Moldmaking’ in hall 8.0.
This year’s partner country was Turkey in hall 9.0. Numerous forums, workshops, and international conferences composed a high class framework programme on all days.

Numerous exhibitors from different industries have announced many high potential business contacts and significant contracts on the show. With its innovative strength EuroMold 2010 has been more than ever before a driver for innovation and growth for the entire product development. Thus EuroMold has extended its position as leading international trade fair for this industrial sector.
