This latest move (the third in 30 years) was decided upon to not only support Doosan’s increased determination and investment into the North American market, but to also help its customers and distributors with an infrastructure to supply the growing demand.

Doosan has doubled its size from a 30,000 to a 60,000-sq. ft. building. The new site will permit Doosan to increase the Technical Center, add personnel and expand services. The Technical Center can now house up to 19 machines and configurations, including the NEW Doocell, a proprietary fully-automated cell designed by Doosan Infracore America engineers to help customers increase automation within their own facilities.

The additional personnel (an increase of +35 percent) will be distributed evenly among three departments: Engineering, Automation Specialists and Technical Services.  “We are working hard to meet and surpass the expectations of our customers and distributors.  It is important that we have the qualified personnel on staff who will support our increasing customer base,” explains John Ross, Director of Communications.

This new facility will also house a NEW CMM Lab and Spindle Service Repair Cleanroom. Two new additions that previously were not offered, but have been pleasantly received by the 650 guests who had the opportunity to visit the new state-of-the-art facility.
